Special Announcement - Extended Deadline
YMCA Europe is announcing opening of voluntary positions for working in its Representation team and encourages young motivated YMCA members to apply for inclusion in the team. The work in the Representation team is a good opportunity for obtaining international “political” experience, which will be a good support to professional and personal development.
All National Secretaries are kindly asked to convey this announcement to all local organizations.
The applicant will be included in the team of volunteers of YMCA Europe that will be responsible in representation of YMCA Europe in various European institutions / platforms.
The team will work under coordination of Executive Committee of YMCA Europe and relevant staff.
Qualifications / Requirements
The applicant should have the following professional and personal qualification:
- in age of under 27;
- good communication skills and ability to communicate and share documents/opinions/reports by e-mail or other internet tools,
- available for traveling and able to devote sufficient time to his / her duties in representation issues,
- negotiation / public speaking / lobbying in English language,
- good knowledge of YMCA Europe values / structures and strategy,
- experience of representation of his/her local organization is an asset.
The team member will be given one of following tasks: representation of YMCA Europe in European Youth Forum and various youth platforms.
