In the context of the "stand up!"-Youth Festival, Juan Simoes Iglesias, General Secretary of YMCA Europe, had a discussion with Bishop Wiesemann and with Church President Schad about "Ecumenism and Youth" and how the European YMCA movement is contributing in that field.
CVJM Pfalz (the YMCA of the Palatinate) offered a manifold program with devotions and a multi-sensory experience in the Imperial Cathedral. Also the young YMCA members contributed to the ecumenical open-air service on Saturday night.
