Heidi Silvén, our representative to the European Youth Forum, has carried out our successful participation to the European Youth Forum Council of Members, supported by the Brussels office.
YMCA Europe has successfully achieved the approval of 4 amendments on policy papers regarding Quality Standards for Youth Policy, Inclusion and Non-Discrimination. We contributed successfully to policy papers which will inform our advocacy work and will influence decision-makers on crucial issues for our youth.
We also contributed to various important debates and workshops where we brought our vision and strategy. The next step will be the YFJ General Assembly in November, and the consultations on the work plan that will precede it. Congratulations to Heidi and to her hard work!
