Terry Ratcliffe (1934-2022) was born in Bury, England attending East Ward School and Bury High School before attending Manchester University School of Architecture. Over 57 years, Terry built a successful architectural business, RG Partnership, the head office still located in Bury today.
Terry was involved in many things especially the YMCA both locally in Bury and Blackburn respectfully and internationally as President of the European Executive.
Terry was also Chair of Bury Athletics Club for more than 40 years, Deputy Chair of Bury Health Authority and 17 years as a Magistrate.
Terry was awarded the MBE in 1987 for his charity work with young people.
