The Community Solutions Hub: From Issues to Impact will take place from 8–14 September in Brussels, Belgium, and having young delegates at the centre of dialogue and decision-making, with a unique opportunity to connect local solutions to European and global agendas.
We’re thrilled to soon welcome young advocates from YMCA National Movements all across Europe for a week of learning, discovery and skill development, all contributing to developing policy that works for youth.
This session gave participants more insights about the programme and location, while also creating space to connect with each other and the planning team. The conversation was lively and engaging – and it was great to start getting to know each other better!
The event is the lead up to a week-long programme designed to strengthen young people’s skills in community engagement, research, prioritising youth issues, policy development, and advocacy.
The project is tailored for the European Youth Representative Network (EYRN), YMCA Europe’s advocacy body, and aims to turn young leaders into powerful voices for their communities. By equipping them with the right tools, the project will help ensure local youth needs are heard at the European and international levels.
We at YMCA Europe are excited to see this 3rd edition of our advocacy training take shape and can’t wait to bring everyone together in Brussels – the perfect setting for our advocacy training.
The countdown is on: just in a week (TBD), we’ll be ready to welcome all participants, kick off the programme, and start developing essential advocacy skills, networking, and building our journey together. We’re ready. Are you?
