It is at a picturesque place on the bank of the river Neman, and the waves of music, creativity, theater and talents will gather friends there. The participants from Belarus, Russia, Switzerland, Ukraine, the USA will have possibilities to attend different kinds of workshops, such as Belarusian folk dancing, role plays, yoga, Chinese tea ceremony, human rights and many others. On the stage you will see the concerts of YMCA groups and Belarusian bands. One of the central events will be a multi religious conference to celebrate our uniqueness and unity. The kea idea of the Festival, which will link all the activities, is togetherness, openness, peace and friendship.
The Festival is devoted to 15 years Birthday of YMCA Belarus, – explains the coordinator of the event Olga Krus (member of the National Board of YMCA Belarus). – During these years we have been serving for thousands of young people, inviting them to the programs of scouting, peer education, healthy living, creativity, cultural events, etc. The Festival itself is a result of joint work of a big team of YMCA Belarus!
We hope that the Festival will bring us to a new stage of development, as YMCA Belarus Youth Center in Ponemoncy will become a place for constant meetings of young people, as it will be created for seminars, camps, conferences, festivals and other events for YMCAs and other organizations.
