The actions of the YMCA projects supporting the Ukrainian refugee communities all around Europe are materialized in the psychosocial and integration assistance that every child and family is benefiting from.
The YMCA has been and is still actively involved in various projects with and for Ukraine, aiming to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in the country. This collaborative effort involves multiple YMCA associations and partners working together to support youth development, peacebuilding, and community engagement in Ukraine.
The projects focus on several key areas, first intervention, assistance, humanitarian aid, including education, social inclusion, youth empowerment, and international cooperation.
Through educational programs and training opportunities, the YMCA aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of young people, enabling them to actively participate in society and pursue their aspirations. The initiatives also emphasize social inclusion, providing support and resources to vulnerable groups such as internally displaced persons (IDPs) and refugees.
By means of our collective fundraising campaign, YMCAs are implementing projects all over Europe. And our commitment is to continue to do so.
