In recent months, YMCA Serbia has significantly strengthened its digital programming and community engagement through the ongoing HP – YMCA partnership.
With a strategic focus on accessibility and empowerment, the initiative continues to support thousands of youth and young entrepreneurs across the country.
New Digital Hub in Zrenjanin
A new HP–YMCA Digital Community Hub was launched in Zrenjanin, Serbia’s cultural capital for 2025, through a local partnership with FOTO EXPO. The hub is equipped with 10 HP EliteBook laptops provided by the HP HOPE initiative and serves as a vibrant space for digital training and creative exploration.
Mobile Hub Reaches Rural Communities
The HP-YMCA Mobile Digital Hub continued its mission across Vojvodina, delivering sessions on internet safety, coding, and digital tools to students in remote schools. This mobile unit remains a critical bridge for digital access among underserved youth.
National Presence at the Weekend Bazaar
YMCA Serbia also showcased its programs at the largest small business festival in the country, the Weekend Bazaar, in partnership with Komunamarket. The HP – YMCA corner attracted over 10,000 visitors across two weekends, offering high visibility for the HP LIFE platform and direct engagement with artisans, youth, and entrepreneurs. Learn more.
Empowering the Next Generation
The programmes target young people aged 10–30, particularly from rural areas, minority communities, and those facing digital exclusion. Success stories like Mihajlo and Miljana, two high school entrepreneurs who applied skills from YMCA’s digital courses to grow their ethical fashion brand @hoody.rs, reflect the real-life impact of the initiative.
With more success stories on the way, YMCA Serbia continues to position itself as a key actor in youth digital empowerment and innovation.
