European Ten Sing Conference 2016 will take place in Oslo/Norway from 3rd to 6th of March.

The conference will have a new appearance, including seminars, workshops, excursion and much more. We are expecting around 30 participants from different countries in Europe.

What is Ersamus+ and how does it work?
In short Erasmus+ is a funding mechanism of the EU for activities for young people. The Budget line "Youth in Action" specifically funds Youth Work Activities. With the successful application we are now able to finance 2 participants (no age limit) of every national YMCA/TS movement that is enlisted in the invitation letter attached.
What will happen at the Conference?
This year´s conference is the starting point of our Ten SIng Commitment. For that we will:
1. work on the YMCA Europe Strategy 2016-2021 and see, how Strategy development functions.
2. will work on partnership and good practice exchange between local, regional and national TS groups. We hope to see a lot more TS-Countries represented this time.
3. will have practical workshops on different aspects of the Ten Sing methodology as a model of Youth Empowerment.
On the next ETS Conference, four seats for the ETS Executive Committee will be up for election.
We are looking forward to see you at the next ETS Conference. We want it to be more relevant, more active, bigger and more diverse. We will also talk in depth about the next ETS Festival 2018, where we will celebrate 50 years of Ten Sing in Europe.
