Dear friends,
As you know, YMCA Europe´s General Assembly takes place in Edinburgh, hosted by YMCA Scotland. The Theme for the GA will be "AONACHD" which means Unity in Scotish Gaelic.
We are very pleased to invite you to join this important event that includes our annual governance agenda items and also a number of spaces for best practices learning and sharing.
The format and contents of our 2017 GA follows the contents of YMCA Europe´s new Strategic Plan on its first year of full implementation. We encourage you and participants from your National Movements to register and benefit from the GA as you also contribute to our "European journey".
One of the highlights will be the Play "Soul in the Machine" based on the life of George Williams as we approach the 175 anniversary of the foundation of our movement. We are deeply thankful to YMCA Scotland for the hospitality and all the efforts in preparing the GA in good co-ordination with YMCA Europe.
