Evropské Skolici Centrum – YMCA Europe Training Centre in Litomysl is a joint enterprise of the City of Litomysl and YMCA Europe. It was opened in 2006 and has the availability of 3-6 meeting rooms with capacities of 20-140 persons and hotel/hostel accomodation with 57 beds in 24 rooms. See website www.esclitomysl.cz
We are hiring per 1st. January 2018 a Chief Executive Officer (Director)
Requirements for this position are:
– Proven experience in a similar position in the hospitality business (conference accomodation and/or hotel)
– Proven experience in a management position and organisational capacities
– Good knowledge of the English language in speaking and writing
– Knowledge of the YMCA as a national and international organisation
– Capacity to work with an international governance structure (Board of Directors)
Responsibilities include:
– Extending the use of the Training Centre by acquisition of (new) users, as well national as international
– Developing new initiatives and organisation/co-ordination of events
– Operational management of the Training Centre which includes Financial- and Personnel management.
– Managing a small team of 4 other staff members
– Reporting to the Board of Directors

– You know what your guests in the Training Centre and in the Hotel expect and are ready to fulfill their expectations
– You are not afraid to incidentally work outside office hours if necessary
