In 2023 YMCA Europe (European Alliance of YMCAs) celebrates its 50th anniversary as the Area Organisation that represents and serves 37 national YMCAs throughout Europe.
You are invited to join us to celebrate our 50th Anniversary from the 28th June to 2nd July 2023. And where better to celebrate this special moment than in Berlin, the birthplace of a united Europe!
Lets gather for the #Y2Gether event and celebrate five decades of our successful contribution to Unity, Solidarity and Youth Empowerment across Europe! In those 50 years we have worked on many projects together – are you ready to look back and share your best practices with all of us?
#Y2Gether (including the General Assembly) is also the place to look forward and create new partnerships, pan-European projects to work on together and share ideas related to Sustainable Planet, Community Wellbeing, Just World & Meaningful Work.
It will be an outstanding opportunity to advance our 2021-2026 Strategy, Vision 2030 and to raise our voice as a European Movement.
Most importantly, at #Y2Gether we are coming together to connect with each other, to share stories, and have fun. We invite all National Movements to join us in Berlin with a group of young leaders to celebrate: looking back at our achievements thus far, rejoicing at this moment, and looking forward to our future initiatives.
We realise that not everyone will be able to join us in Berlin, so we are also inviting all National Movements to join us in the celebration on the local level. We are working on providing a package with fun challenges and activities to be organised at local YMCAs so everyone and everywhere in Europe can be part of #Y2Gether.
