Our 3rd Fundraising Conference will focus on mobilization of resources through projects and applications to public/private institutions. We bring our annual Fundraising Conference to Brussels this year, the seat of the main European institutions. The Conference will have a clear emphasis on training, using a participatory methodology that will strengthen the participants´ capacity to search, apply and administrate funds in a successful and effective way.
During the National General Secretaries Forum (Paris, November 18-20, 2013), a number of flagship programme initiatives presently developed by European YMCAs will be identified. Using those best practices, part of the Conference will focus on adapting successful programmes to different contexts and realities. We will also learn about private and corporate funding plans, an approach to co-funding and the design of services that our YMCAs can provide to our communities and the budgetary implications that those have.
Join YMCA Europe´s 3rd Fundraising Conference. Experts from our European movement together with representatives from other private and public organizations based in Brussels will share best practices and opportunities in the following fields :
Public funding and grants :
- Applications for public funds
- Approaching public institutions
- Connecting your institutional priorities with public administration main goals
- Preparing your YMCA for being eligible by public funding
- Co-funding, challenges and opportunities
- EU funding opportunities based on YMCA flagship programmes
Private / corporate funding :
- Establishing and strengthening Corporate / NGO partnerships
- Fundraising for micro and large projects
- Campaigns and fundraising initiatives in the local, national and international levels.

- Identifying key services provided by the YMCA
