From July 1st to 2nd, our representatives had the pleasure of attending the second in-person PulseZ Consortium meeting in Athens, Greece, a key step in our collective mission to empower young media creators across Europe.
This dynamic gathering brought together representatives and project leads from all 8 partner organisations: Junior Achievement Europe, European Youth Press, Európsky Dialóg, Ciaopeople & Fanpage.it, Euractiv Poland, Euractiv Romania, Matrix Internet Ireland, offering a valuable space to align our work packages, co-develop sustainable strategies for youth engagement, and shape the future direction of the PulseZ platform.
The meeting also provided a good starting ground for aligning and organising working groups, as well as a solid strategy for engaging our online communities and developing the engagement of PulseZ.
Throughout the sessions, we focused on:
- Strengthening the online community of PulseZ
- Expanding initiatives of outreach efforts through communications and local events, while establishing meaningful connections with the already established community of young journalists and new media content producers.
- Addressing shared challenges (“pain points”) to build a more integrated and effective platform for digital storytelling
One of the highlights of the event was the fact that we had the chance to engage directly with 8 young journalists and new media content creators from across Europe.
Their role and presence was essential at the main event GEN-E 2025 – Europe’s youth greatest start-up and entrepreneurship conference, as they took an important role of capturing the every aspect of the event from the creative and journalistic eyes of young people.
Led by our partners from JA Europe, the young content creators had the assignment of documenting their journeys, creating content, podcasts, videos as well as written materials that engaged a wide range of audiences on PulseZ social media channels. This incredible initiative is the very start of empowering youth-led initiatives within the PulseZ Media Outlet and Platform.
We are proud to contribute to a collaborative, cross-European effort that supports youth-driven media, digital skills, and civic engagement. The synergy, strategy, and shared commitment among partners reaffirmed our belief in the power of this platform.
