The camp gathered more than 60 people from Belarus, Germany, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and united them in educational, entertainment and sport programs.
Through creating their own states, constitutions, work in 4 sectors of society, educational seminars, quests and quizzes the participants of the camp could learn what human rights based approach is, its principles, how they can be implemented in the camp and real life; what equality, gender equality and civic activism is. Interactive methods of education were chosen to teach youth such uneasy but important topics.
Sport and scouting activities, "Eurovision", concert of National cultures, a Fair of business, evening fires, role-playing games and other events united the youth in the camp "All Together" and created a great atmosphere of respect, unity and joy. This is great that YMCA Belarus has capacity to run two big camps within one summer and do it in a professional way. YMCA Belarus is reconstructing YMCA Center in Ponemontsy for running the camps and other educational, cultural and sport activities.
YMCA Belarus is thankful to all partners and friends who are able to help in this long journey of creating a real YMCA Center in Belarus.
