Dear friends,
After 16 years in YMCA Europe it is time for me to leave and concentrate on other things in life, such as reading, enjoying the seaside and nice food, making good on invitation from my YMCA friends …
I would like all of you to know that serving YMCA Europe was for me most satisfying, adventure filled, motivating and deeply appreciated. I made life time friends, got to know the great work National Movements are doing, witnessed amazing volunteer work, I travelled incredible places in Europe and enjoyed local hospitality there that is difficult to match.
I was a member of a remarkable staff team that supports one another, dreams high and makes it happen, invents, helps – to say simply – is always there in good and bad times.
I am leaving you with heavy heart but knowing we will see each other again and remain in touch.
As I said before – I see myself not as one of the pillars of the YMCA Europe as some of you call me, but rather as one of the everlasting building blocks that YMCA Europe stands on.
