The StartUp initiative of YMCA Setubal, serves as the inaugural YMCA incubator, designed to function as a catalyst for incubating and accelerating projects from both business and non-business entrepreneurs. The focus is on addressing regional, national, or international challenges through innovative ventures.
A Call for Projects is hereby initiated, inviting participation from all YMCA Youth groups aged 18-30.
There is no limit on the number of individuals who can engage in this opportunity. Projects will be selected based on submitted applications, with the most promising initiatives securing a spot in the StartUp YMCA Bootcamp scheduled for June 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2024, at YMCA Camp Alambre in Setúbal, Portugal.
All expenses associated with the bootcamp will be covered at no cost to participants. However, it is important to note that the reimbursement of travel expenses, including airfare or bus tickets from the participants’ respective countries to Portugal, remains the sole responsibility of the applicants or their local/national YMCA branch.
