The young people of the town bought, spoke with head teachers and organised the day themselves and staff team members from the National movement visited to support on the day. The local media and deputy major of the town were present to watch the first tree being planted and the story was covered on the 8pm news in Kosovo.
The youth are an absolute credit to our movement and their town and school, many of our young leaders turned up to help with this initiative and they showed they care about their town and our world. The fact these young people who range from 14 to 20 years old applied to the UN and chose to help the environment tells you how selfless they really are.
