It’s been a time since we contacted you with regards to the next VfE seminar. Though we were enthusiastic about a grant application that we have submitted over YMCA Germany to the EU office, in the end it has not been accepted by the German EU contact office, unfortunately!
Eventually small group discussed the possibilities of organizing the seminar nevertheless and we came to the conclusion that we want to definitely organize it as our goals with this seminar are so important and a meeting definitely is needed. Therefore we looked for a cheap accommodation which also would be easy to reach. Also we thought again about the length of the seminar and decided to shorten it for one day. And we were looking for other external grants/donations to support at least some people with their travel costs. And finally we are very glad that the YMCA of Germany took over the responsibility for this seminar (with also means to take over the final financial risk).
I am very happy and thankful that the YMCA Germany agreed to take over the hosting function for our next seminar. Thank you, Germany!
