From 20–23 October 2022, more than 120 YMCA participants from across Europe gathered in Vienna for the Unify Conference under the theme “Refreshed. Renewed. Moved.”
Hosted in the historic YMCA Vienna building, the conference brought together people from diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds to celebrate YMCA’s identity, mission, and faith. The programme combined inspiring lectures, workshops, and moments of reflection with opportunities to explore the city.
YMCA leaders, including President Emma Osmundsen White and Secretary General Juan Simões Iglesias, addressed the participants, reaffirming the movement’s Christian mission and commitment to unity in diversity.
The event was both a reunion and a renewal, strengthening the sense of belonging to one YMCA family and re-energising participants for their ongoing work in communities across Europe.
