The project will develop a multimedia tool to showcase the inspiring stories, projects and work of 7 young human rights educators, illustrating the impact and importance of human rights education in their communities. More information about the project can be found in the concept note attached.
The Council of Europe have been asked to nominate 3 candidates from Europe.
Therefore, a call for applications was opened accordingly to help identify and select three inspiring nominees and we would be grateful if you could circulate this call for applications in your network and with any inspiring young activists and educators in the field of human rights you believe should be nominated for this project.
Applicants must:
- Be between 18 and 30 years of age (at the time of application);
- Have experience conducting human rights education, particularly for youth; and
- Have experience advocating for human rights education.
- Have contributed to positive human rights change both personally and in their community as a result of their advocacy.
Each nomination should be accompanied by a recommendation letter of one or several organisations. In order to apply, the candidates must complete the form found here.
