Despite challenging circumstances, local YMCA organizations in Ukraine continue to demonstrate remarkable resilience and adaptability. Not only have they sustained their activities, but they have also expanded their reach, addressing the pressing needs of local communities, including the integration of internally displaced persons (IDPs) into new environments.
In this context, the partnership with HP led by YMCA Europe has become a significant milestone in strengthening YMCA’s digital education initiatives in Ukraine.
Scaling Impact: Digital Access & Education
In 2024, through a generous donation of HP, YMCA distributed in Ukraine over 5,000 HyperX devices to more than 130 educational institutions across 15+ locations, benefiting over 110,000 people (Learn more). Additionally, 17 local YMCAs in cities including Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Ternopil received 140 laptops through HP HOPE initiative, aiming to reach 50,000+ beneficiaries.
