YMCA and HP collaborate to enhance digital access in Ukraine with HyperX devices.
We are pleased to share some of the recent activities by the YMCA Ukraine team as they prepare to distribute the HP HyperX device donations across communities in Ukraine. These efforts aim to enhance digital access and support young people and students, through innovative solutions.
This project has been made possible through the coordination with Junior Achievement Europe and Junior Achievement Ukraine. Their efforts ensured the transportation of the devices from Belgium to Ukraine and part of the distribution within Ukraine.
These devices will equip schools, educational, digital, and learning centers across the country, supporting communities affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine. This will enable young people including those from rural areas, economically challenged communities, and IDPs (internally displaced persons), to access digital resources and improve their digital literacy and skills.
This delivery is part of a larger donation from HP, managed by YMCA Europe and YMCA Belgium, supporting HP’s mission to accelerate digital equity for 150 million people by 2030.
Other countries benefiting from this extensive donation initiative include Scotland, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Moldova, Belgium, Spain, Romania, and others.
The support of HP and the commitment of the YMCA implementation teams have been crucial in making this initiative a reality.
As we continue this journey, we invite you to stay tuned for more updates. Our mission to provide digital innovation within the YMCA network and beyond is just beginning, and we look forward to sharing our progress and the positive impact on the communities we serve.
Thank you to everyone involved in this effort. Together, we are making a difference and paving the way for a brighter, more inclusive digital future for all.
