Would you like to explore Erasmus+ funding, develop a project idea or connect with international partners? YMCA Europe is organising a free online support webinar for local YMCAs across Europe on 25 November 2026, from 13:00 to 14:00 Brussels time, or 12:00 to 13:00 London time.
The webinar is open to anyone interested in learning more about Erasmus+, particularly YMCAs with little or no experience of EU projects. It will offer a starting point for organisations looking to understand the programme’s current framework, funding calls and application process. With the UK returning to Erasmus+ in 2027 after seven years outside the programme, the session will also help UK YMCAs prepare to participate again.
Over the past four years, YMCA Europe has built practical knowledge of the programme through its own work. During the webinar, we will share that experience and cover the basics of Erasmus+ and its funding opportunities, how to develop a strong application, and practical advice for getting started.
Participants will also have an opportunity to meet potential partners. Building the right partnership is an important part of many cooperation projects.

We want more local YMCAs to feel able to explore EU funding, contribute to proposals and work with partners inside and beyond the YMCA network. Over time, these skills and relationships can help YMCAs offer young people more varied and ambitious activities in their communities.
November is a useful moment to begin preparing for the 2027 calls. In our experience, developing a strong application, especially finding the right partners, often takes six to eight weeks.
The precise opportunities and deadlines will be set out in the official 2027 call, expected to be launched in November 2026.

We look forward to meeting you and exploring what Erasmus+ could make possible for your YMCA.
