YMCA, in collaboration with HP and other partners, has embarked on a transformative journey to promote digital equity across Europe.
The newest initiative, supported by HP with a large-scale HyperX equipment donation, is a crucial step in bridging the digital divide. This effort ensures that underserved and vulnerable communities have access to the tools and skills needed to thrive in the digital age.
By implementing a broad range of activities and initiatives, including HP LIFE courses, supporting Digital Community Hubs, and donating various devices, YMCA and HP are making a significant impact. These efforts empower communities by enhancing digital literacy, improving access to education and employment opportunities, and fostering economic growth and inclusion.
Within this initiative YMCA is enhancing digital access and education for more than 25 partners (YMCA and othe NGOs) in more than 10 countries across Europe.
Expanding Digital Access
In a rapidly evolving digital world, access to technology is crucial. YMCA Europe recognizes this need and, through strategic partnerships, is providing essential digital tools to communities that need them the most.
Almost 30,000 HyperX peripherals, such as gaming headphones, keyboards, and wireless chargers are being distributed to support digital learning and engagement. The peripherals and devices are known for their industry-standard quality and reliability, valued at a total of 2 million euros.

By providing essential IT skills and resources, these partnerships are helping to empower thousands across Europe.
Our partners were selected through rigorous research and selection process. We work only with reputable organizations whose vision and mission align closely with ours. This involves evaluating their track record in community engagement, their commitment to digital inclusion, and their ability to deliver impactful programs.
By thoroughly assessing each potential partner’s capabilities and goals, we ensure that our collaborations are meaningful and effective. Most importantly, we believe that through collaboration, we can achieve a greater impact and drive more significant change in the communities we serve.
