As a result, our skills and knowledge quickly become obsolete, creating a widening disparity between our capabilities and market demands.
To tackle this issue, the Digital Skills and Jobs Platform has emerged as a solution. By empowering Europeans to enhance their digital proficiency, the platform facilitates career advancement and enables individuals to contribute more effectively to their organizations.
Our commitment is to empower YMCAs and ensure inclusivity in the digital era. We firmly believe that digital education is a right and that technology should be accessible for all.
We are also proud to say that YMCA Europe has recently applied for the European Digital Skill Awards 2024 in the “Inclusion in the Digital World” category. In the past years, we have continuously worked to foster diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. We recognise the need to reach underserved communities and groups, such as minorities, people with disabilities, individuals from disadvantaged background, as well as women and girls.
