From its inception, the YMCA movement has had a strong and long-lasting impact on the sporting world. To celebrate, London Central YMCA will be running a small exhibition ‘The YMCA Sporting Hall of Fame’, a whistle-stop journey of sporting stories from the first modern Olympiad to the present day.
This summer as the world’s focus is fixed firmly on the Olympics, London Central YMCA is poised to be a hub of activity, a home from home for visiting YMCA members across the globe. We would like to welcome staff and members of YMCAs to join us to view the exhibition to celebrate the continuing sporting contribution and achievement of the YMCA and its members.
