Her mandate starts in January 2016 and is for two years, until end of December 2017.
The Advisory Council on Youth is made up out of 30 individuals, 10 of whom are selected by Council of Europe and 20 elected by representatives at the European Youth Forum. Tinna Rós was amongst 13 candidates elected on nominations from International organisations. She had the 5th highest votes, or 1455 in total.
We congratulate Tinna for this achievement that will continue to help raising YMCA Europe’s profile among our sectors in Europe. Special gratitude is given to Liam Preston (Tinna Rós’s predecessor on the Advisory Council) and to everyone working in our Youth Policy area.
