The first day of the event provided an interesting debate platform that took place in the Citadel Theatre and was attended among others by the Mayor of Edmonton, Don Neson.
One of the topics in the debate was current subject addressed throughout Canada, reconciliation with the indigenous (First Nation) people, an issue that strongly resonates in different forms in European countries as well.
In the afternoon the Conference enjoyed incredible performance by the indigenous delegation and first steps towards the Strategy goals and implementation were outlined by Peter Dinsdale.
The Conference under the title "Expedition" welcomed over 350 delegates and will continue with strategy debates, workshops, interest groups and cultural experiences.
