YMCA Setúbal in Portugal is inviting applications for its International Summer Camp Counsellor Programme at YMCA Camp Alambre, set in the stunning Arrábida Natural Park.
This opportunity is open to young people aged 18-29 who have a good command of English and ideally have experience in summer camps.
Selected counsellors will engage in outdoor education, adventure activities, and team-building experiences with young campers from diverse backgrounds. The programme aims to foster leadership, teamwork, and cross-cultural exchange while promoting personal development.
Positions are available for three camp periods between 22 June – 6 September 2025, with each counsellor expected to commit to a three- or four-week session. YMCA Setúbal provides accommodation, meals, insurance, and a stipend of approximately €300 per week.
Working Periods:
Period I- June 22 to July 19, 2025
Period II- July 20 to August 9, 2025
Period III- August10 to September 6, 2025
Requirements:
Age: from 18 to 29 years old.
Good level of English .
Preferentially with previous experience in Summer Camps.
