European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe has approved the co-funding of the project “Bridging Cultures: from personal transformation to community development”!
The aim of the project is to enable young people and youth Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to promote peace, social transformations and intercultural dialogue through community projects and organisational culture.
Objectives:
- Providing space for young people to analyse and formulate their personal identities and values, life purposes and role in society, connected to the current social contexts and intercultural diversity;
- Supporting youth in designing and implementing of social transformational activities promoting peace and intercultural dialogue as part of community work in youth CSOs;
- Strengthening capacity of youth CSOs to promote peace, social transformations and intercultural dialogue as part of intercultural governance and organisational culture.
We kindly invite you to start thinking about nominating young leaders (18-30 years old) to be enrolled in this course. We will welcome near 30 motivated but not very experienced yet leaders of civil society organisations who wish not only to gain the knowledge on mentioned topics but to implement them in practice.
The project will consist on three main phases:
- International Activity One: Bridging Personal Cultures – in-person training in spring 2025
- Local Activities: Bridging Community Cultures – design and implementation of community projects in spring-summer-autumn 2025
- International Activity Two: Bridging Organisational Cultures – in-person training in autumn 2025
