Celebrating Achievements in Digital Equity: YMCA and HP pave the way for an inclusive future.
As YMCAs across Europe continue to strive for digital equity, we are proud to share with you that, together with our partner HP, YMCA in Czech Republic and YMCA Romania has made great progress in reaching our goals!
YMCA Czech Republic recently held the Unify conference, where HP supported the event through equipment and presents, and YMCA recognises the technology giant as a prominent conference partner. This event is one of the many examples where HP and YMCA have worked hand in hand to achieve common goals.
In addition to Unify, both parties are exploring further opportunities for collaboration, including HP’s potential support for the YMCA Czech Talent program and volunteer initiatives within the local association in Prague and other locations.
As part of our goal of closing the digital divide, in Romania, benefiting from a HP device donation, YMCA is in the process of headphone distribution to schools (with focus on those from rural areas) and youth centers to ensure access to educational resources. With dedicated personnel and expertise, this partnership is expected to create a multiplier effect that will positively impact communities and support their growth.
HP’s spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility has uplifted thousands of individuals and has been instrumental in building stronger, more resilient communities across Europe. Together, with shared vision, mutual support, and active engagement, we are confident that we can pave the way for a more digitally inclusive world for all.
Our partnership has extended beyond borders, playing a vital role in uplifting communities in Moldova (including Ukrainians), West Balkans, Netherlands, UK and soon in Ukraine, Germany, Belgium.
