YMCA-YWCAs in the Nordic Countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) have a common forum where the presidents and National General Secretaries meet once per year.

YMCA Europe is delighted to announce that Michal Szymanczak, actual Senior Executive Secretary at YMCA Europe, has been appointed as Senior Executive Secretary for Movement Strengthening at the World Alliance of YMCAs, effective January 1st 2015.

Last November 15th YMCA Helsinki and the National Council of YMCAs in Finland celebrated their 125th anniversary.

Representing 26 YMCA movements in Europe, a total of 38 persons met in London at YMCA Europe´s 3rd National General Secretaries Forum from the 24th to the 26th of November 2014.
