The acceptance speech of Emma Osmundsen, YMCA Europe`s President.
Over 75 delegates from 35 countries took part at YMCA Europe´s General Assembly (Part II).
We are deeply saddened by the news of the unexpected loss of Nina Hustedova.
At the beginning of the year, YMCA Europe launched a series of campaigns aimed mainly at young people and their situation in the current context and beyond.
Despite of the global challenges, YMCA Europe continues focusing on youth work, creating spaces and increasing impact.
We share a touching personal experience from Marina Ruf, 21 years old from Germany and presently a Social Work student in Düsseldorf.
Together with Salomé Wiedmer, Marina volunteered at the Greek island of Lesbos and this is part of their inspiring story
October marked another intense month of activities for the Brussels office. Consultations, preparation of new policy documents and strategies, global events and new themes to work on.
