We are delighted to introduce one more NEWSLETTER with information about our recent events and developments.
Once it was the Wall that transformed Europe… But its Fall 25 years ago also meant deep changes in Europe.
Almost one month ago we were leaving Voloshin in Belarus, where YMCA Europe´s 8th Catch the Vision Seminar took place.
YMCA Slovakia is happy to announce that YMCA in Slovakia has been recently recognized
by the Slovak court of Justice as the original movement of YMCA since 1945 and a rightful owner of the YMCA building in Bratislava on 23 October 2014.
August – October 2014 was a key period for the implementation of the Tandem Grant Tool initiatives within YMCA Europe Roots for Reconciliation project.
Fom October 30th to November 2nd the Global Staff Team met in Geneva under the leaderrship of Johan Vilhekm Eltvik, Secretary General of the World Alliance of YMCAs).
Mrs Kerry Reilly has been appointed as National General Secretary of YMCA Scotland effective from 5 January 2015.
In the year of Inclusive Christianity as main YMCA Europe’ programme focus, already the 8th Catch the Vision (CtV) YE Seminar took place (Nov. 13-18).
From 10th until 11th October the YMCA Europe Field Group Belarus met in Volozhin.
On Saturday , Oct 3rd. we celebrated the opening of the YMCA Charity Shop in Gjakova. The honor of cutting the ribbon was given to the Mayor of the city Ms Mimoza Kusari- Lila and the Kosovo Field Group members.
