YMCA Europe is proud to present the results of its signature project “Leadership Academy: Global Leaders for Local Communities” for 2020-2021.
When most colleagues across Europe are fully back into the daily operations at local and national level, we are very pleased to share our monthly newsletter with the highlights of August.
August 2021 marked a new chapter in YMCA Georgia record books. Although being involved in the YMCA Europe “Generation Next” project for already a year with lots of preparatory work and arrangements carried out, it was the last month when all the efforts came into fruition.
The months of June and July brought a bustle of activities in Brussels. Many meetings are held as activities slowly get back to normal and a lot of information is shared on new funding programmes, with a set of new rules and conditions to learn about.

On August 4th 2019 the YMCA175 Opening ceremony gathered over 3,000 delegates in London.
YMCA Europe’s first Women In Leadership Conference gathered more than 40 participants from 35 different countries in Europe and globally.

In February YMCA Europe was able to gather a large community of experts and YMCAs working with migrants and refugees during our conference on Refugee and Migrant work.
