Volunteers Day : One person can contribute to positive change
YMCA Malta has been always active in the field of ‘homelessness’ providing sheltered accommodation and care programme to homeless individuals, families, and children.
Although November marked another month of reduced possibilities to move for many of us in Europe, the work of YMCA Europe has been as intense and dynamic as it could be.
November has been quite a full month for the Brussels office, as not one but two important General Assemblies took place, and many other meetings saw our advocacy work in full force, together with work on fundraising and projects.
During the Covid19 crisis, YMCAs across Europe have been determined to help their communities as far as possible, establishing some best practices.
We are delighted to introduce the best practice from YMCA USA on Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy from YMCA England & Wales and YMCA Romania.
Thank you Mike Will, Stepan Cerny, Beate Turck, Diana Zarembiene, Marta Huretska, Edgar Mifsud, Anita Beguelin, Pascal Rothensal and Sven Larsen!

Over 75 delegates from 35 countries took part at YMCA Europe´s General Assembly (Part II).
We are deeply saddened by the news of the unexpected loss of Nina Hustedova.
