YMCA ROOTS Peace Work Institute Alumni online reunion took place on April the 3rd. Participants from all over Europe got together in a conference call to reconnect, check on each other and elaborate ideas and plans for joint actions during and beyond this lockdown.

The inaugural year of YMCA Europe Roots Peace Award has the first laureates – after highly engaged and participatory process, the YMCA Georgia and European Union were selected to receive it for 2020!
With reference to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the Executive Committee of YMCA Europe has agreed that the planned 2020 General Assembly of YMCA Europe to take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 21 May – 24 May 2020 will be postponed.
